A Research-Driven Department

The Research Facilities at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, AVIT, are designed to foster innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and impactful technological advancements in electronics and communication. The department provides a robust ecosystem equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, advanced design and simulation tools, and dedicated research labs that support cutting-edge work in areas such as VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, IoT, Signal Processing, Communication Networks, Robotics, and RF & Microwave Engineering.

Anchored by a DRDO-funded Lab and an e-Yantra Lab established in collaboration with IIT Bombay, and supported by industry-grade VLSI, Embedded Systems, Communication, Microwave & Antenna, DSP, and IoT laboratories, the facilities enable faculty and students to engage in high-quality research, funded projects, and collaborative initiatives with academic and industrial partners.
