Objectives of the Student Induction Programme (SIP)

AVIT’s Student Induction Programme supports new students with a smooth transition into university life through welcoming, adaptation support, and education on university culture and values via mentorship.
The induction programme clarifies course objectives, curriculum, and skills, preparing students effectively for their academic path with a strong foundational understanding.
SIP fosters an environment where students understand and accept their peers, promotes early integration with faculty, mentors, and the institution, and builds rapport with senior students and alumni.
SIP informs students about campus life, cultural, sports, and entertainment opportunities, and emphasises safety, security, and health to ensure they thrive in their new environment.
The induction sessions on Universal Human Values (UHV) instill ethical values, fostering integrity, empathy, and social responsibility, ensuring students grow into conscientious individuals who positively impact campus and society.
The Student Induction Programme (SIP) at AVIT educates students on green initiatives, promoting environmental responsibility and active participation in sustainability practices.
SIP introduces students to campus clubs such as NSS and Rotary, fostering community involvement, leadership, and ethical responsibility while encouraging participation in service and cultural activities to enhance personal development.

Note: Upon submission of the above documents, please ensure to collect the Certificate Acknowledgement Letter duly signed by the authorities, as well as the Student and Parent Affidavit, which will be provided at the counter.
